“Girl Empowerment Mission”winter workshop started in NTPC Darlipali

Darlipali (PRABAHA NEWS). The Girl Empowerment Mission Winter Workshop-2024 started at NTPC Darlipali on Monday, in which 120 girls from government schools around the project were given health check-up at Niramaya Hospital located in NTPC Darlipali. After the health check-up, these girls were registered. It will run till 29 December.

The inauguration ceremony of the winter workshop of GEM was held on tuesday at the Konark Auditorium in which Mr. Hare Ram Singh, General Manager (O&M) was the chief guest and Mrs. Poonam Malik – President, Abhilasha Ladies Club, Darlipali attended as the special guest. Heads of departments, union and association officials, BBPS School Principal, DC CISF, and GEM girls were present in the program.

Like every year, this year also all the parents are eagerly waiting for the Girl Empowerment Missionthere was a wait. In May 2024, 120 girls who joined the Girl Empowerment Mission have been included in the winter workshop. Keeping in mind the all-round development of the girls, a week-long residential training camp is now being organized.

From the year 2022, the Girl Empowerment Mission is being organized every year in the NTPC Darlipali project. Under the Girl Empowerment Mission, girls are not only given education but also all useful training for their overall development. Under the initiative of Girl Empowerment Mission, 280 girls have been trained in the Darlipali project so far.
