Chief Civil Supplies Officer Arrested By Odisha Vigilance On DA Charges
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance today arrested Prashanta Kumar Gantayat, Chief Civil Supplies Officer, Bhubaneswar for allegedly possessing properties disproportionate to his known sources of income
Based on searches conducted on properties of Gantayat, he was found in possession of disproportionate assets including two multi storeyed buildings in Bhubaneswar, two flats, five plots including three in Bhubaneswar, deposits of Rs 1.48 crore, gold weighing 536 grams, cash Rs 1.21 lakh, a four-wheeler etc., which he could not account for satisfactorily, the anti-corruption agency said.
After the arrest, he will be produced before the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
