IFFCO Paradeep Unit has been awarded the coveted Kalinga Environment Excellence Award-Five Star for the performance of Year 2022
Paradip: In a ceremony held the Institute of Quality & Environment Management Services, Bhubaneswar on 17.6.2023, the award was presented by Sri Pradip Kumar Amat, Hon’ble Minister, Department of Forest, Environment and Climate Change, Govt. of Odisha. On behalf of IFFCO, the award was received by Sri R K Pandey, General Manager (Production and Environment & Safety), and Sri Debasis Mohanty, Manager Environment .As a special guest, Dr. K Murugesan, Member Secretary of the State Pollution Control Board of Odisha, attended the event.
The honour was given to IFFCO in appreciation for its adherence to best environmental practises throughout Plant operation. The environment has always been a consideration in IFFCO’s policies. In terms of plantings or environmental protection, it has served as a model. Both the national and state government have long valued IFFCO for this reason.
