Mini Science Centre Inaugurated at Kamalaga OAV
Bhubaneswar : A Mini Science Centre was inaugurated today at Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya (OAV), Kamalaga, under the CSR initiative of Meenakshi Coal Mine, a unit of Hindalco Industries Limited under the Aditya Birla Group. This marks a significant step towards strengthening and promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education among students.
The centre aims to generate greater interest in scientific subjects among students, help them understand concepts in a simple and practical manner, and promote hands-on scientific learning. The initiative is designed to equip students with essential knowledge and skills required for their future.
On this occasion, the Chief Guest, Mr. Avijit, CSR Head, Hindalco Industries Limited, was present. He was accompanied by Mr. Siba Mohapatra, Cluster CSR Head -Odisha, and Mr. Mukesh Jha, Unit Head, Meenakshi Coal Mine. Officials from the partner organization, STEM Learning, also attended the program.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the Headmaster, teaching staff, and students of the school, making it a vibrant and engaging program.
The entire program was successfully conducted under the direct leadership of Ms. Niharika Sahoo, CSR Head, Meenakshi Coal Mine.
