NTPC Darlipali has successfully implemented the 5S workplace Management system   

Sundargarh : The first 5S Surveillance Audit was done by QCFI on 21 August 2024 at NTPC Darlipali. This 5S audit was conducted by QCFI Varanasi team. 5S Auditor Sh. Arun Moy Chakraborty Secretary QCFI Varanasi chapter and Mrs. Aruna Singh carried out the three days audit from 19 to 24 August 2024. During the 5S audit survey all 16 areas of NTPC Darlipaliwas audited. In November 2023 NTPC Darlipali has been Certificate by Quality Circle Forum of India. The certificate of 5S is valid upto 30 November 2026, and it is to be revalidated by QCFI every six months.  

The first 5S monitoring audit was conducted by QCFI at NTPC Darlipali on Wednesday. This 5S audit was conducted by QCFI Varanasi team. The 5S auditor team included QCFI Varanasi Secretary Arun Moy Chakraborty and Mrs. Aruna Singh. During the three-day audit, all 16 zones of NTPC Darlipali were audited. Earlier in November last year, NTPC Darlipali was given a certificate by the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI). This 5S certificate will remain valid till 30 November 2026, and this certificate is renewed by QCFI every six months. 
 
5S Implementation trophy were given out to 1st 2nd and 3rd position teams in both O&M section and Non O&M Section. The trophy was given out by Sh. Harsh Nath Chakraborty, (HoPDarlipali) in the presence of Sh. Hare Ram Singh, GM (O&M) all HOS, all 5S Zone leaders and Sub Zone leaders. The 1st position in O&M section was bagged by CHP 5S Zone and 1st position in Non O&M section was bagged by Medical 5S Zone.  
 
5S Surveillance Audit closing meeting was coordinated by AGM BE Sh. Debashish Roy Burman. The 5S meeting was concluded by resolving that NTPC Darlipali will strive for JUSE certification within the next year.
