SBI celebrated 77th Independence Day
Bhubaneswar: State Bank of India Bhubaneswar Circle celebrated 77th Independence Day in all its branches /offices across Odisha on 15th August 2023. At its Local Head Office Bhubaneswar, national flag was hoisted by Chief General Manager Shri Chander Shekhar Sharma and the event was attended by more than 200 staffs and officials. A sand art on the theme of Independence Day was inaugurated by CGM Shri Sharma. Later, CGM Shri Sharma administered Panch Pran pledge to the employees on the occasion.
In his speech, Shri Sharma greeted all staff members of SBI and citizens of Odisha on the Independence Day and expressed his gratitude for whole hearted support for SBI. He urged all staff members to perform their best in this Amrit Kaal to make India 2nd largest economy by 2047. As events marking culmination of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), SBI has set up four Amrit Vatikas at Govt High School Baramunda, National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar, Pravata Nalini High School Anandpur (Keonjhar) and Tahasil Office Rasulpur (Jajpur).
