SBI formed first Amrit Vatika in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) and under the mega program “Meri Maati Mera Desh”, State Bank of India Bhubaneswar Circle started with plantation of “Amrit Vatika” at Municipal High School, Baramunda in Bhubaneswar. Chief General Manager SBI Bhubaneswar Circle Shri Chander Shekhar Sharma inaugurated the Amrit Vatika by planting a sapling.

This event is first of its kind in Odisha by SBI. DGM & CDO Shri Manoj Kumar Singh, AGM (M&C) Shri Amaresh Das, President of Ajira Srujani Ms Sujata Nanda and school authorities were present in the occasion. School children also took active part in the plantation activity. SBI has already initiated mega plantation of 50,000 trees in schools and institutions around Odisha.
