State Bank of India Officers’ Association, Bhubaneswar Circle Celebrated its 47th Foundation Day
State Bank of India Officers’ Association, Bhubaneswar Circle Celebrated its 47th Foundation Day at their Circle Association Office at LHO, Bhubaneswar on 19th August 2024 with fellow Comrades and leaders of yesteryear. On this occasion series of philanthropic activities were arranged underscoring their commitment to community service. The celebrations kicked off with the distribution of 130 backpacks to students of BhimaBhoi Blind School in Unit 3, Bhubaneswar.This initiative was made possible due to the cooperation and support of the headmistress and teachers, who played a pivotal role in ensuring the event’s success.
During the backpack distribution, General Secretary Arun Kumar Bishoyi delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging the children to look beyond their limitations and strive for greatness.
Following this, the members of SBIOA Bhubaneswar Circle organized a food drive programme at ‘Ashraay’, a destitute home. Around 70 elderly and destitute residents were served lunch and dinner, bringing warmth and joy to those in need. The initiative was a testament to the association’s ongoing dedication to serving the underprivileged.
General Secretary Arun Kumar Bishoyi, President Amitava Das, and other office bearers were instrumental in managing these events smoothly.
