Vedanta Lanjigarh Hosts Industrial Visit for Polytechnic Students to Foster Industry-Academia Collaboration

Lanjigarh, prabaha news : Vedanta Lanjigarh, India’s premier producer of smelter-grade alumina and a unit of Vedanta Aluminium, organized a comprehensive industrial visit for students from Polytechnic Government School, Bhawanipatna. The visit included an extensive plant tour of Vedanta’s world-class alumina refinery at Lanjigarh, providing students with valuable insights into the alumina production process and industrial operations. This initiativeserved as a bridge between theoretical learning and practical industrial exposure, offering the students a firsthand experience of cutting-edge manufacturing operations.

This industrial visit is part of Vedanta Lanjigarh’s ongoing efforts to foster skill development and industry-academia collaboration in remote regions of Odisha. Vedanta also regularly conducts training programs, internships, and workshops aimed at equipping local students with the skills necessary to thrive in today’s workplaces. By offering such immersive experiences, Vedanta aims to inspire and equip the next generation of professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the industrial sector.
