Tata Steel Mining’s Sukinda Chromite Mine bags CII Eastern Region Excellence Awards for Safety Health & Environment 2021-22
Sukinda, August 06, 2022: Sukinda Chromite Mine of Tata Steel Mining limited (TSML), located in Jajpur district of Odisha, has been conferred with the prestigious ‘CII Eastern Region Excellence Awards for Safety Health & Environment (SHE) 2021-22’ at 16th Confederation of Indian Industry Safety Symposium and Exposition held in Kolkata.
The award was received by Ajaya Kumar Thakur, Assistant General Manager, Health, Safety and Environment, TSML from guests including Paresh Thakkar, Senior Vice President and Group Health & Safety Head, JSW Group, Prof Chiranjibi Bhattacharjee, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Jadavpur University, Lalit Gabhane, Director General, National Safety Council, V K Nirala, Chairman, CII and Sudipta Mukherjee, Co-Chairman, CII at the award ceremony in the presence of other company officials and dignitaries.
