Extending Ayrvedic treatment & Yoga to the Beneficiaries of the Paradip Port Authority

Prabaha News: In pursuance to the directives of Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India to provide Ayurvedic and other traditional system of medicines  to the beneficiaries of Paradip Port Authority, Shri P.L. Haranadh, Chairman, PPA has kindly approved to engage a part-time visiting Ayurvedic consultant at PPA Hospital.

Accordingly, Dr. Tapas Ranjan Sarangi, M.D (Ayurveda) has been engaged as part-time visiting consultant. He joined today i.e 11.10.2022 in the PPA Hospital. Apart from this, a Yoga Teacher, Sri Tapas Ranjan Pati has also been engaged to teach Yoga/Meditation to the beneficiaries of Paradip Port Authority twice a week.

Hence, preventive & curative treatment in the oldest traditional system of medicine, i.e. Ayurved is extended to the beneficiaries of Paradip Port Authority from 11.10.2022.  The Chairman, PPA has also approved to empanel Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science & Research Hospital, Sri Sri University, Cuttack. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in this regard will be signed shortly.

Thus, from today, i.e. 11.10.2022, the Paradip Port Authority has extended Ayurvedic treatment, the traditional system of medicine, and Yoga to its beneficiaries. This effort of PPA will immensely benefit the employees/pensioners/their dependents in providing preventive and curative treatment of a number of diseases, including those related to stress and strain, and lifestyle.
