FIRE EVACUATION DRILL CONDUCTED AT STATE BANK OF INDIA,LOCAL HEAD OFFICE, BHUBANESWAR
BHUBANESWAR:29/04/2023: Fire Evacuation Drill was conducted at Local Head Office of State Bank of India, Bhubaneswar on 29/04/2023, Saturday at 1600 hrs. The practice drill was aimed at giving the employees an exposure to deal with all types of contingencies arising because of Fire in high-rise buildings.
Shri Chandra Shekhar Sharma, Chief General Manager of SBI for Bhubaneswar Circle addressed the staff on the importance of Fire Safety measures and Fire Drill for the safety and lives of staff members at Office as well as at home. He summed up his speech by with a quote “Our goal is not only to provide safe working environment for all our staff, but also to ensure that maximum staff in the LHO Building is trained in fire safety to deal with the any emergencies of fire at office or at home”.
The Team Fire safety of SBI demonstrated the various fire extinguishers and yard hydrants under the Supervision of Shri Kuldeep Srivastava, Circle Fire Officer of SBI, Bhubaneswar. Capt. Vivek Singh (Circle Security Officer) & Sri Satyabrata Mishra Assistant General Manager (Premises & Estate) guided the team and overall command of Shri Manoj Kumar Singh, DGM & Circle Development Officer, at LHO Bhubaneswar.
The contingents of Bhubaneswar Fire Brigade participated in the Mock Drill in co-ordination with SBI Fire support team and demonstrated to deal with high rise building fire.
