Puri: A local man unauthorisedly climbed atop Jagannath temple in Puri up to the shrine’s Neelachakra, today. He has been identified as servitor of Agneshwar Mahadev temple Chandrasekhar Panda.

On being noticed, Chandrasekhar was asked by Jagannath Temple Police (JTP) personnel to immediately get down. “The man was wandering around Neelachakra on the temple’s dome,” an official said.

Chandrasekhar was initially spotted by a few Chunara servitors of the Jagannath temple. The wrongdoer got down through roof of the Dakshinaghar after being repeatedly insisted for it by JTP personnel.
