Mercury Plummets In Several Parts Of Odisha As G. Udayagiri Shivers At 7.5 Degree Celsius

Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha have been experiencing cold wave conditions as mercury dropped significantly in some areas, last night.

G. Udayagiri recorded the lowest temperature with 7.5 degree Celsius, followed by Phulbani (8.5), Semiliguda (8.7), Daringbadi (9.5), Koraput (9.6), Rourkela (9.7), Keonjhar (10.4), Sundargarh (10.5), Angul (10.6) and Jharsuguda (10.8).

The Regional Meteorological Centre here has forecasted that shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur in morning at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Koraput.

It further added that there will be no large change in minimum temperature (night temperature) at many places over the districts of Odisha during the next five days.
