OBSERVANCE OF VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK-2022IN STATE BANK OF INDIA
State Bank of India Bhubaneswar Circle has observed Vigilance Awareness Week from 31/10/2022 to 06/11/2022. Theme of Vigilance Awareness week held this year was “Corruption free India for a Developed Nation.” Tri-lingual integrity pledge was taken by all its staff members on 31/10/2022 at 11.00 AM across the state. At Local Head Office Bhubaneswar, integrity pledge was administered by Sri Uttam Kumar Hazra Chowdhury, General Manager (NW-II). A sand sculpture featuring the theme was inaugurated by Shri Chowdhury in front of LHO Premises.
To focus the need to eradicate corruption, along with Walkathon, radio jingle and elocution /essay /drawing /online quiz competitions, Gram Sabha and Sandhya Shibirs were organised across the state. SBI CGM Shri Chander Sekhar Sharma along with MLA Shri S N Pradhan and other local dignitaries attended the Gram Sabha organised by Khordha Region at Batisahi Gram Panchayat, Nayagarh on 04/11/2022. Also Shri Paranabandhu Acharya (IPS) Spl DG of Police-cum-Director Investigation, Orissa Human Rights Commission attended a special meeting at LHO premises on 04/11/2022 and shared his thoughts on this very important topic of corruption.
