Odisha CM Urges Centre For Safe Return Of Odias Stranded In War-Hit Ukraine
Bhubaneswar: As Russia intensified war against Ukraine, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today spoke to Union Home Minister Amit Shah on safe return of Odias stranded in war-hit eastern Europe country.
Expressing concern over grave situation of Indian nationals from Odisha residing in Ukraine, Patnaik telephoned Union Home Minister and urged him for safe evacuation of Odia students and labourers from Ukraine.
Responding to the call, Shah assured Odisha CM that India Government is in touch with the Ukraine Government and working to bring back students and labourers from Ukraine at the earliest.
