Odisha’s Bhitarkanika National Park To Reopen From August 1

Kendrapara: The Bhitarkanika National Park that has been closed since May 1 will reopen for tourists from August 1, official sources informed here today.

All arrangements for reopening the wildlife sanctuary for tourists have been completed. Once it reopens, the tourists will be restricted to enter with polythene bags, the source said.

The park was closed for visitors from May 1 to July 31 during breeding season of saltwater crocodiles.
