PPA observes Rashtriya Ekta Diwas
Paradip Port Authority observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) today on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Shri P.L. Haranadh, Chairman, PPA offered floral tributes to Saradar Vallabhbhai Patel along with other Sr. Officials of PPA. Addressing the gathering, he said that the guidelines,principles and actions of Saradar Patel is quite relevant during current times against divisive forces who are trying to create disruption in the country. He urged all the employees to follow the same resolve and put their best efforts forward to take PPA into newer heights in coming times. Thereafter, Shri Haranadh administered Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge to the officers, employees and CISF personnel present at the Gopabandhu Stadium. He also flagged off the “Run for Unity” comprising off PPA employees and CISF personnel, which culminated at the PPA Administrative Building.
In the evening, Shri Haranadh, Chairman, PPA took salute from the platoons participating in a march past comprising of contingents from CISF Unit, PPA, Odisha Maritime Academy, Naval NCC of Paradip College and Port Trust High school.
