SBI STARTS STATE LEVEL PLANTATION FROM RAJ BHAWAN
State Bank of India, under Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, with a target plantation of 50,000 saplings in Odisha, has started the activities from Raj Bhawan Odisha. Today, SBI Bhubaneswar Circle CGM Mr. Chander Shekhar Sharma met Governor of Odisha His Excellency Mr. Ganeshi Lal at Raj Bhawan and gifted a plant as a symbol of beginning of mass plantation. During the discussions, CGM Shri Sharma highlighted State Bank’s efforts for environmental protection and successful plantation in Odisha. The Governor while praising efforts of SBI in CSR activities for sustainable improvement of Odisha as well as the nation, reciprocated good wishes for successful plantation drive to combat global warming. In the past years too, SBI has successfully carried out plantation activities around Odisha.
