Tata Steel’s OMQ Division Receives Prestigious Mine Innovation Award for Digital Initiatives in Mining

Joda, September 20, 2026: Tata Steel’s Ore, Mines & Quarries (OMQ) Division has been conferred with the “Mine Innovation Award” in recognition of its outstanding contributions to Digital Initiatives in the Mineral Sector. The award was presented during the 5th International Conference on Safe and Sustainable Mining Technologies and Mining Expo 2026, organised by the Indian Mining & Engineering Journal (IMEJ) on Saturday, at Tata Steel’s Valley Club, Joda.

The recognition highlights the company’s commitment to leveraging advanced digital technologies to enhance operational excellence, safety, efficiency, and sustainability in mining operations.
