TPCODL Promotes Rooftop Solar Adoption Through Seva Setu Camp at Baranga
Bhubaneswar, October 10, 2026: TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture of Tata Power and Government of Odisha, continues to strengthen grassroots outreach on rooftop solar through Seva Setu Camps under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan and the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
On October 10, a Seva Setu Camp was organised at the Baranga Block Office in Cuttack district. Shri Chhabi Malik, Hon’ble MLA, Niali, inaugurated the stall dedicated to the scheme in the presence of the Block Development Officer (BDO), Baranga, senior officials from TPCODL’s Renewable Energy (RE) Cell and TPCODL staff members.
Seva Setu Camps are community outreach initiatives under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, aimed at accelerating the adoption of the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. Launched on September 17 to mark the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s birthday, the Abhiyan will continue until October 17. With over 79,000 rooftop solar installations across its operational area, TPCODL is further stepping up its outreach to make information, guidance and assistance more accessible to consumers.
At the camps, consumers can access on-the-spot registration support, information on government subsidies, guidance on bank loans and financing options, and assistance with vendor selection.
The initiative reinforces TPCODL’s commitment to expanding access to rooftop solar and helping more households across Central Odisha benefit from clean energy.
