Vigilance Awareness Week begins at PPA

As per the directives of Central Vigilance Commission, Paradip Port Authority is observing week-long celebration from 30th October to 5th November 2023, centered on the theme “Say No to Corruption, Commit to the Nation”, The celebration to spread Vigilance Awareness  began at Paradip Port with a walkathon led by Shri P.L. Haranadh, Chairman started from the Bus Stand & culminated at PPA Administrative building in the morning. Denizens of Paradip enthusiastically participated in huge numbers.

 Later on, Shri Haranadh administered Integrity Pledge to the employees at PPA Administrative Building. Following the pledge, a spot quiz contest on vigilance knowledge was held among the employees. Then he flagged off a “Satarkata Rath” to promote vigilance awareness as well as message of CVC. Local cultural organization CANMASS performed a skit titled “Chharapoka – The Bug” to generate awareness about the menaces of corruption and on filling complaints under PIDPI resolution, which was highly appreciated by the audience present.  

During the observance of Vigilance Awareness week -2023, various activities and competitions on elocution, essay, drawing and fancy dress have been scheduled among the local school students  to promote awareness among general mass. PPA employees are also actively taking integrity e-pledge by visiting website of CVC through PPA Website and the Website of CVC & PPA. Several Hoardings have been displayed in the locality for creating awareness among the public. Each department of PPA has been conducting stakeholders meet for awareness on corruption and grievance redressal, issues relating to the functioning of the departments under three months Campaign as prelude to Vigilance Awareness Week-2023.
