Fuel Price Increases Again; Check New Petrol Rate In Odisha
Bhubaneswar: Petrol and diesel prices were hiked today for the second day in a row across the country.
A record 137-day hiatus in fuel rate revision had ended yesterday with an 80 paise per litre increase. Prices had been on a freeze since November 4, last year.
According to a research by the CRISIL, a hike of Rs 15-20 per litre is required to fully pass the increase in international oil prices.
In Odisha, petrol was being sold at Rs 109.41 per litre in Malkangiri, the highest in the state. In capital city Bhubaneswar, the rate was Rs 103.81 (an increase of Rs 1.15).
